I was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and moved to Mississauga with my parents and younger brother when I was 4 years old. I was raised in the City of Mississauga where I attended Streetsville Secondary School.

Throughout my teen years, I spent a great deal of my time in GTA rinks playing minor hockey. This hard work paid off for me as I eventually played Provincial Junior “A” followed by four seasons in the British Elite League. Upon completion of high school, while in the UK, I attended the highly touted University of Ulster in Northern Ireland for Forensic Psychology.
